Introduction to Bulk Domain Purchasing

The domain name is the unique name that helps the online community to easily identify the desired internet site. The unique domain name that comes in product-distinct parts and is separated by dots enables the businessman or private individual to maintain a face in the otherwise faceless online web world. Today, the procedure involved for bulk domain purchasing is not only easy, but also enables users to make a one time investment in website addresses that are most specific and easy to remember.

The idea behind bulk domain purchasing is to refrain from the hassle of an unnecessary waste of time annually or occasionally to find the right and most general domain names for the business. With bulk domain purchasing each domain name chosen can be allowed to refer to a segment or specific part of the business. This is mostly done so that a group or any specific business can have a number of internet e-mail addresses without having to consistently re-establish internet sites every now and then.

There are a number of service-providers for bulk domain names who help you not only to understand what needs to be done when creating a website and generating a business specific domain name, but also how you benefit by a bulk purchase. These service-providers enable you to access information and tips to help you select the best domain names in bulk for your business. They help you to access a number of related domain names for bulk domain purchasing.

These names are memorable and easier for your customers to remember. They ensure return visitors and web traffic by generating domain names for you to buy in bulk: names that stay on the web without losing visitors. The bulk domain purchasing option helps you to ensure that the domain names purchased are easy for your customers to spell and thus retain great branding opportunity. Bulk domain purchasing helps you individually or your business to establish a domain within the search engines. A bulk purchase is especially helpful when you or the in-house team is debating between several different domain names and need to get there before the best names are gone.

The web world now witnesses the expiry of thousands of .coms every day and fresh releases in a steady stream within the online market. A number of entrepreneurs are now making it worth their while by indulging in bulk domain purchasing with a specific, related name followed by .com and a domain name decided upon. With the way the online community is growing and the internet is part of our everyday lives, bulk domain purchasing is the smart thing to do.

Your face within the online community needs to be kept alive with little or no effort and in this endeavour your best and safest bet is bulk domain registration. It is very easy to get lost within this large and faceless web world, but when you smartly invest in domain purchasing in bulk, what you actually do is secure the future of your online web presence in one go!

Build a website and make money from it

Filed under: Domain Names, hosting providers, registrars, sponsors — Admin @ 4:30 pm

Do you have a website? Did you know that you can make extra money from your website even if its just a simple blog or a one-page showcase of your model train? Well, you can! Youre probably not going to be the new Bill Gates but you could be giving out fancier Christmas presents next year (or treating yourself to something nice, if youre a Grinch) or simply help pay for the hosting of your website! So how exactly do you go about this? Keep reading!

Google AdSense

This is by far the most common way of earning extra cash from your site because it is so easy to do. Google AdSense is basically the placement of discrete text ads on your site, based on the content. If your site is indeed about model trains, Google AdSense will place ads for model trains on your site. Every time someone clicks on one of the ads, you will be paid a proportion of the advertiser cost per click. You can either make these Google ads stand out on your site to try to get people to click on them or have them blend in if you prefer to maintain the aesthetics of your site.

For more information go to the Google AdSense page at: google.com/adsense/login/en_GB/.

Affiliate Schemes

The second most common way of making your website make you money is to sign up to a so-called affiliate scheme. This is basically the promotion of specific companies goods on your site. Should someone click through and purchase something, the company will give you a slice of the cake. Once youve signed up and placed the necessary bits and bobs on your site, all you do is sit back and watch the money roll in!

There are two slightly different types of affiliate programs; one type is run directly by the company itself (with this type all you do is choose a company who has an affiliate scheme and whose product might be of interest to the readership of your site). The web host Daily, for example, has an affiliate scheme that lets you choose from a variety of banners so that you can get one that fits best with your site. They will give you joining credit of 10 and 30% of any sales youve helped generate. Sounds pretty nice, doesnt it?

Here are some other companies with affiliate programs:

Amazon

eBay

iTunes

The second type of affiliate scheme is one found on one of the huge affiliate networks like Tradedoubler, for example. Hundreds of merchants are signed up to these networks hoping that potential affiliates will promote them on their sites. That makes things a lot easier for you - its easy to find merchants that fit the content of your site, as theyre all gathered in one place. In addition, you usually get good commission rates because the companies are competing against each other to woo you. Its usually free and once youve joined youll be able to choose the best banners and text ads for your site.

In both types of affiliate schemes, you will be paid either a cash amount or a percentage of the sale that occurred as a result of someone clicking on the ad on your site. Its up to you how much you want to promote the product advertised on your sites. Some websites are specifically designed for the promotion of a companys product and some of these websites make a lot of money. If you can build a site that gets a lot of traffic (that generates lots of sales), perhaps you CAN be the new Bill Gates!

Here are some of the top affiliate networks:

Tradedoubler

Commission Junction
